Data and API
The Treasury yields, SOFR and mortgage rate on the rates page come from a database refreshed on a schedule from the publishers. You can call it as JSON or embed a live ticker. Both are free with a credit link.

Any series by id, with its observation date, a week-ago and month-ago point, a freshness status and the
publisher's name and link. Ids include the Treasury par curve (UST1M through UST30),
SOFR, SOFR30, EFFR, PRIME and PMMS30. Add
&history=60 for 60 days of values. Open to cross-origin calls, cached about 15 minutes.

status reads fresh, stale (later than the publisher normally posts),
dead (too old to show, and value comes back null) or empty. Treat anything but
fresh as a reason to show the date prominently.
Embed the ticker
One line of HTML, rendered on our server: no script, no cookies, publisher credits included, and a link back to
this site. Swap ids for any of the series above (eight at most). Add &theme=dark for
dark pages.
