Questions

Is there a cost or an API key?

No. The server is free, read-only and needs no key or sign-in. Please cite the commercialproperty.today page or the publisher link that comes back with each answer.

Where does the data come from?

Rates come from the U.S. Treasury, the New York Fed, the Federal Reserve and Freddie Mac, refreshed daily. Bank CRE credit comes from the Federal Reserve charge-off and delinquency release and FDIC call reports, refreshed each quarter. CMBS, price, cap-rate and lending figures are the headline numbers from KBRA, Green Street, CBRE, the MBA and the Fed, each read at its source and dated. The server reads the same data as the pages on this site.

Are the answers investment advice or a loan quote?

No. They are published market statistics with their dates. They are not advice, a loan quote or an appraisal of any property.
